Logistics Coordinator

Our client, a Canadian owned company in the food industry is currently searching for a Logistics Coordinator to join their team. This is a full time role located in the tri-city area. In this role the individual would be responsible for negotiations with the various carriers, scheduling daily local deliveries and working within tight deadlines.

Must Have’s:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain
• High school diploma/GED required.
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, and high proficiency in Excel)
• Ability to use and navigate Logistics routing software.
• Working knowledge of legal regulations, Ontario Highway Traffic act and hours of service requirements.
• Ability to independently handle multiple projects.
• High level of analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, negotiating and customer service skills.
