ABOUT THE RIGHT CANDIDATE
We are looking for folks who are excited and passionate about wine and hospitality. The right candidate will have passion for wine and either wine industry experience or an interest in pursing wine, or hospitality in general, as a career. You will have the opportunity to join our team at the early stages, with a ton of potential for additional opportunities in the future.

This is a position for a candidate with experience in the wine industry, preferably in restaurants or wine bars but other experience such as wine retail, winery tasting rooms, distribution, etc., is also very welcomed. This is an opportunity hone wine service, blind tasting, and general knowledge. While we understand the value and meaning of wine education certifications (such as CMS and WSET), we also understand that there are many highly knowledgable wine professionals that have chosen not to pursue those certifications so please do not let the lack of certifications prevent you from applying.

ABOUT THE JOB
The bulk of your position will be greeting guests, helping them order wine by-the-glass, serving wine by-the-glass, general cleaning, processing guest payments, ensuring we have adequate glassware and bottles of by-the-glass wine stored at service temperature. Additional tasks will be assigned as needed by management.

For candidates with more experience, you can expect to sell wines by-the-bottle from the wine list as well as learn how to manage parts of the day-to-day of the wine program.

Most importantly, no job is too small for anyone  at Nobody's, management included. Everyone is expected to bust tables, take out the garbage, polish glasses, etc. One of the partner's of Nobody's Hospitality Group will be there throughout the day and will contribute to service as well help build your wine knowledge and any other aspect(s) of running a business that you are interested in.

THE PERKS
In order to sell wine, you have to taste it! We will be having regular employee tastings to ensure that you are adequately prepared to sell all of our by-the-glass wines. You will also have the opportunity to taste some of the rarest wines in the world throughout the year.

Flexible work schedule: if you are a wine professional in a former life and would like to scratch that itch one or two shifts a week we would love to have you.  Or, if you are a student interested in learning wine while maintaing a full class schedule, this could be the perfect fit for you!

Certification Support: For those interested in pursuing certifications, practice exams, blind tasting sessions, and funding will be made available.

Travel and Networking Opportunity:  There will be opportunities explore the local and regional wine, beer, and cider scene. This may also include major annual distributor and importer tastings.

A small and new company, we will be looking to consistently expand on the benefits we are able to offer our team. While the guest is our number one priority, hospitality truly starts with how we treat our employees.

ABOUT NOBODY'S
Nobody's is an elevated wine bar experience seeking to provide a world-class wine list and hospitality in a thoughtfully designed space with a causal and unprentious vibe. We pour over thirty wines by the glass ranging from $10 to over $100 dollars (most selections will be under $16 dollars). Our opening wine list will have approximately 100-150 additional skus. While grounded in the classics, we are giving special attention to underappreciated wine regions, "obscure" grape varities, and under-the-radar producers from established regions. We are also building a rare beer list and feature cider from around the world. Eventually, we will expand into offering regularly scheduled wine classes for the community.
