The Position

Your role will be to take in job requirements from clients and develop a sourcing plan to find the best candidates in the market. You will develop a clear action plan with your client so that you can deliver on time, the most suitable candidates possible. You will use various tools to source and engage with great candidates, including our internal database, external job boards and resume banks, headhunting, networking, and referrals. You will work tirelessly to find the best candidates and to provide candidates and clients with the best possible experience.

You will enjoy working in a team, but ultimately take the responsibility to get the job done yourself. Sourcing and engaging with candidates that fit the clients job requirements can be tough, so you should be tenacious and enjoy the thrill of the chase. You will also be very organized, as you will be managing multiple candidates at any one time. Finding a job is an emotional process therefore regular communication with your candidates is imperative.

Your Qualifications:

  • Previous experience recruiting within Tech (MUST HAVE).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, especially in engaging with clients and candidates.
  • You are goal-oriented, purposeful in building new and existing relationships, competitive but thrive in a team environment with the self-motivation to make things happen.
  • You thrive on personal achievement and are committed to your professional development.
  • You find purpose in helping people advance their careers and seeing them grow.
  • Ability to multi-task and adjust to changing priorities.
  • Ability to use critical thinking skills to design strategies to connect with diverse candidate groups.
  • You are always researching the labour market trends, skills shortages, niche markets, changes in the industries and have the ability to present those to clients.
  • Ability to perform screening calls and develop pipelines of active candidates on the market.
  • You are ready to be a liaison between the candidate and the client. Highlighting the candidate’s suitability for the positions to our clients.
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • You are familiar with recruitment tools (such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Dice, Monster, etc.).
