We are looking for a Full Stack Java Developer with one year (1-2 years) of professional experience in development. This is a full time position and will work onsite 1-2 days per week in our Tampa office.

Required:

• 3-5 years of Java Development professionally. This includes Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Tomcat, MySQL etc.
• Permanent work authorization - Citizen or Green Card required (unable to transfer or hold OPT or H1B)
• Only current Tampa Bay area candidates will be considered - onsite 2x per week from day one

Duties:

You will participate in the software development writing clean code and handling bug fixes within our software platform. The Java Developer candidate should be ready to work on cross functional program streams, while continuing the innovation of our software platform.

• Code web applications, middleware, and production support activities using Spring Boot, Tomcat, Hibernate, REST/SOAP, Angular, GIT, DBMS, Linux Shell scripting, JIRA.
• Attend stand-ups
• Develop new web APIs or web services
• Support infrastructure upgrades and testing
• Participate in cloud integration work in AWS
• Bug fixes
• Manage Jira backlog for work items
• Production support activities (reporting or minor fixes/enhancements)
• Work onsite and contribute in-person both professionally and culturally (2X per week)
