We’re seeking a MEP Site Manager for one of our clients with a proven track record of leading data center construction projects . This role involves 100% travel , with a home base in Kentucky . Role Overview
As the MEP Site Manager, you’ll oversee construction activities for complex data center projects , ensuring exceptional quality, safety, and teamwork. Key responsibilities include:
- Planning, scheduling, and managing subcontractors.
- Coordinating on-site construction from pre-startup to completion.
- Enforcing high safety and quality standards throughout the project.
- Managing materials, tools, and timelines to meet critical deadlines.
- Communicating effectively with team members, subcontractors, and stakeholders to resolve challenges and keep projects on track.
What You’ll Need
- 2–3 years of managerial experience in data center construction.
- At least 10 years of overall construction experience (industrial sector preferred).
- Strong morals and integrity to lead by example.
- Exceptional communication skills to foster collaboration and address challenges effectively.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and plans with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in construction scheduling tools (MS Project a plus).
- A proactive mindset with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment
- This is a 100% travel role , with projects located across the U.S.
- The home base is Kentucky , but extensive travel is required to support data center projects.
- You’ll be working hands-on in the field, directly leading and coordinating construction teams.
