About the Role

We are looking for a Frontend Developer to take full ownership of the frontend development for our internal web application. As the sole frontend developer on a small, agile team, you will lead the redesign of the application, focusing on modernizing its interface, improving user experience, and ensuring scalability. This is a bilingual role requiring fluency in both English and French.

Key Responsibilities

• Frontend Ownership: Lead the design, development, and implementation of the application's frontend from the ground up.
• Application Redesign: Redesign and modernize the existing frontend with a client-focused and UX-driven approach.
• Technical Collaboration: Work closely with backend developers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
• Product Insight: Provide technical recommendations for frontend improvements, scalability, and best practices.
• Code Quality: Maintain clean, scalable, and efficient code using CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise:

• 5+ years of frontend development experience in a corporate or enterprise setting.
• Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks like React, Angular.
• Experience with Node.js, SQL, and cloud platforms like Azure (open to other cloud technologies).
• Strong understanding of CI/CD processes.

UX & Design Focus:

• Deep understanding of user experience principles and frontend design best practices.
• Ability to create enterprise-level products (similar to ServiceNow or ticketing softwares).

Soft Skills:

• Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a small-team environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Language: Fully bilingual in English and French.
• Education: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
