Position Overview:

As the RN Nursing Manager , you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the Medical Telemetry Unit, a combination step-down unit/telemetry unit. This position requires a strong focus on leadership, quality patient care, team development, and operational excellence.

You will work closely with a talented team of charge nurses, registered nurses, monitor techs, and patient care technicians, ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory standards while driving improvement in patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Oversee daily operations and staffing of the Medical Telemetry Unit, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Staff Development: Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Patient Experience: Lead efforts to improve patient satisfaction through consistent, positive interactions and service recovery when necessary.
• Clinical Excellence: Monitor and evaluate nursing care delivery, ensuring adherence to best practices and evidence-based care.
• Operational Management: Oversee staffing, manage operating expenses, and identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining excellent care standards.
• Compliance: Ensure the unit complies with all regulatory standards, accreditation requirements, and internal policies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care leadership experience (within the past year) with 5+ years of overall RN experience. CNC, House Supervisor, or Charge Nurse experience is acceptable.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification at the time of hire.
• Active RN license in the state of practice (or compact license).
