Role Overview:
We’re on the hunt for someone to join our Business Operations team to drive impact across critical areas like partnerships, analytics, finance, and recruiting. You’ll be at the heart of operational strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, enhance growth, and fuel efficiency. You’ll be instrumental in building scalable solutions that power our expansion and open new doors for limitless growth.
Responsibilities:
Short term
- Channel Sales Partnerships: Build on our existing channel sales partnerships to source, close, activate, and maintain new partnerships that fuel our growth. These may be with home builders, institutional owners of rental homes, solar providers, and other related partners.
- Recruiting: Support top-of-funnel recruiting activities and help screen/close priority candidates.
- Business Analytics : Build and maintain our strategic finance and FP&A muscle with unit economics analysis, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Company Materials: Update decks, memos, and models for recruiting, partnerships, and fundraising.
- Ad hoc projects: Our Business Operations team works directly with our Co-founder and often works directly on strategic projects and opportunistic initiatives.
Medium term
- New Markets: Assess new market opportunities and their financial impacts.
Qualifications:
- Top tier Management consulting, investment banking or private equity experience preferred.
- Bias toward action and simplification - constantly pushing toward alignment, clarity, and execution on tight timelines
- Comfortable with ambiguity and effective prioritization in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to tackle problems logically; Data-driven approach to decision-making and sound business judgment to determine project performance and financial viability, grounded in analytical thinking
