Job Summary:
The Compensation Specialist will develop, implement, and manage compensation programs that align with the company’s strategic goals. This role focuses on core compensation activities, sales incentive plans, and pay models, while ensuring compliance with all regulations and providing analytical support to HR and leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and manage salary structures, incentive plans, and bonus programs.
- Conduct market research to benchmark compensation packages and ensure competitiveness.
- Evaluate job positions and recommend appropriate salary levels.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with HR and leadership to implement effective compensation strategies.
- Analyze and present compensation trends and metrics.
- Support managers and employees with compensation-related guidance.
- Participate in compensation surveys and analyze benchmarking data.
- Develop communication materials to educate employees and HR on total rewards programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in compensation or related HR roles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of compensation laws and regulations.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) is a plus.
