About the Role:
This pivotal role will focus on expanding the company's footprint in Canada, with a particular emphasis on Quebec and the surrounding regions. You will drive new business opportunities and enhance existing client partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive growth in ocean and air freight, import/export, and customs brokerage services.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor logistics solutions that meet client needs.
- Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and market conditions to provide clients with cutting-edge solutions.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall success of the business.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in business development or sales in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain industries.
- Strong knowledge of ocean freight, air freight, customs brokerage, and import/export services.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with a client-centric mindset.
- A well-established network in the logistics and transportation sector in Canada.
- Proven success in driving revenue growth and developing long-term client partnerships.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%.
