Our client is currently seeking skilled 4 PC Technicians for a 6-month project in the NW Indiana area (Munster, East Chicago, Hobart, Crown Point). This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to showcase their skills in a dynamic and challenging working environment.

Job Description:

The incumbent will be responsible for conducting a complete PC refresh, replacing PCs across 65 clinic locations, all running on Windows 11. The deployment will encompass both hardware and software installation and troubleshooting, similar to level 1 help desk tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Replacement and upgrade of hardware to Windows 11 OS
• Installation and configuration of software applications
• Troubleshooting of technical issues ensuring minimum downtime
• Travel between client locations across the NW Indiana area
• Work collaboratively in a team of 7

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience as a PC Technician or similar role
• Proficiency in Windows 11 OS environment
• Understanding of desktop components and software installation procedures
• Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical issues succinctly
• Vehicle ownership required due to necessary travel between client locations

This is an onsite role, requiring the ability to work in a variety of environments, from corporate settings to busy clinics. It is a great chance to expand and apply your knowledge as a PC technician over a significant contract duration.
