Pay: Contract duration- $57-$61 FTE $110k-$118k

Duration: Contract to hire

Job Description: Product Owner – Tax Technology

We are seeking a seasoned Product Owner with expertise in tax technology and personal income tax processes, particularly in the 1040 area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in product management, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering innovative solutions in tax-related software.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 6+ years in product management, business analysis, or related fields, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Expertise in tax technology, personal income tax, 1040 returns, and associated tools like e-signature platforms.
• Strong understanding of software development, agile methodologies, and product lifecycle management.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple tax-specific products, including portals, engagement letters, organizers, and e-signature platforms.
• Define product requirements, maintain roadmaps, and oversee development teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint demos, and ensure all deliverables meet acceptance criteria and are aligned with the product vision.
• Ensure compliance with Product Management Lifecycle (PML) processes, including risk management, security, and audit requirements.

Project Description:

• Seeking a Product Owner with expertise in tax technology and personal income tax (1040) to manage tax-specific software solutions like portals, organizers, and e-signature platforms. Responsible for product roadmaps, agile execution, and delivering compliant, high-quality solutions.
