Job Responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans and learning modules
• Teach fundamental reading comprehension skills and literary analysis
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods to engage different styles of learners
• Prepare and grade assignments and exams
• Maintain detailed attendance records and student files
• Manage parent relationships and provide regular updates
• Participate in meetings, workshops, and conferences
• Ensure safety and security standards are upheld

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English or related major
• Master’s degree preferred
• 2-3+ years' experience
• Experience teaching at secondary classroom level and/or college level is desired
• Ability to establish and maintain engaging classroom
• Commitment to continuous learning

Salary Range: $70,000 – $75,000 based on experience
