Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Downtown Indianapolis, IN

Duration: 6–12 months contract with opportunity for extension

Schedule: 5 days on-site per week

Role Overview:

Brooksource Engineering Services is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to support the digitization of manufacturing processes within a pharmaceutical manufacturing technology department. This position involves configuring and verifying Tulip applications, designing solutions for digitized logbooks and forms, and ensuring compliance with validation and quality standards. Familiarity with Tulip is not required; candidates with transferrable skills in app development, validation, and system configuration in regulated environments are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure Tulip applications, tables, and connector functions to digitize logbooks and manufacturing forms.
  • Support the localization of global templates for business processes to meet site-specific needs.
  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of Tulip applications to support digitization efforts.
  • Draft and review technical documentation, such as SOPs, validation protocols, and test cases, in alignment with GMP and FDA standards.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into system configurations.
  • Perform process analysis and app design to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5–7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, validation engineering, or a similar role in pharmaceutical or regulated environments.
  • Strong background in configuring and testing COTS systems (e.g., SAP, Maximo, or LIMS systems).
  • Experience with Computer Systems Validation (CSV) , technical documentation, and compliance with regulatory standards (FDA, GMP, or ISO).
  • Proficient in gathering requirements, troubleshooting, and app development for digitized manufacturing solutions.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to facilitate workshops and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Tulip or other digital manufacturing platforms.
