About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Asset Management to oversee a substantial portfolio of industrial properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for negotiating industrial lease deals, managing a high volume of new and renewal transactions, and developing strategic asset plans to enhance property value. This role requires a professional with a proven track record in industrial leasing, including strong relationships with industrial brokerage professionals in the Southwestern United States. The VP will also be involved in asset management across various strategies, such as value add, development, and core plus, and must be adept at leasing and managing third-party brokers, property operations, budgeting, and ensuring lender compliance.Key qualifications for the role include over 10 years of experience in commercial real estate asset management, with a significant focus on the industrial asset class, and a Bachelor's degree. The ideal candidate will be based in Orange County and be willing to travel regularly within Southern California, Arizona, Nevada, and Northern California. The position demands a professional who can work closely with in-house property and development management teams to maintain high standards for the assets and is comfortable with the responsibilities of the role, including managing construction and capital expenditure budgets. The VP will play a critical part in the company's operations, and as such, a high level of expertise and a proactive, results-driven approach are essential.
