About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Development to join their team. The successful candidate will be a key leader in the organization, responsible for all fundraising and development activities. This includes supporting the President and CEO in major initiatives, collaborating with the executive team to develop and implement financial strategies, and leading the design and execution of comprehensive development plans. The role involves forging new relationships to enhance the company's visibility and financial resources, as well as expanding and diversifying the donor base. The Vice President of Development will also be tasked with monitoring and reporting on the progress of the development program, and mentoring the development team.Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' of development experience in a nonprofit setting, with a proven track record of success in managing and cultivating donor relationships. The role requires the ability to influence and engage a wide range of donors, as well as a flexible and adaptable leadership style. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree preferred. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be adept at working with minimal supervision, and have a strong understanding of the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of the service population. The position demands a high level of proficiency in computer programs and the ability to work with confidential information.
