About the Role
The Company is seeking an SVP of Operations to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and executing operational strategies, as well as directing the work of the company's manufacturing and service operations. This role involves oversight of all employees at the manufacturing plants and service centers, setting annual budget targets and KPIs, and delivering a comprehensive functional 3-year strategy. The SVP of Operations will also be tasked with ensuring effective collaboration with sales, finance, HR, and innovation teams, and driving continuous operational improvement. Key responsibilities include leading the strategic planning process, providing forecasts and annual budgets, ensuring safe work practices, managing daily operations, and developing high-performing teams.Applicants for the SVP of Operations position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in operations management, engineering, or a related field, with at least 10 years' of operations experience in a manufacturing environment. A minimum of 5 years' in a leadership role with a focus on driving change is required, along with strong financial acumen and an understanding of the operational impact on the P&L. The ideal candidate will have extensive cost modeling knowledge, experience in lean manufacturing, and expertise in working effectively within all levels of an organization and with external business partners. The role demands excellent communication skills, the ability to leverage data for decision-making, and a willingness to travel 60-70% of the time. The SVP of Operations will also be expected to partner with HR on talent acquisition, ensure strong succession planning, and foster a culture of belonging and growth.
