About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for its Accounting function. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and streamlining the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of close activities. The AVP will also be tasked with preparing and reviewing consolidated financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP and relevant regulatory requirements, and serving as a key point of contact for audit inquiries related to the close processes.Applicants for the AVP position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a CPA or equivalent certification. A minimum of 8 years' progressive accounting experience, particularly in close processes within a corporate environment, is required. The role demands a strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective collaboration across the organization. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a passion for driving results and maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity.
