SkyBridge Luxury & Associates is proud to partner with a premier luxury resort in Orange County to source an experienced Catering Sales Manager . This exciting role is integral to the success of the resort’s catering and events business, focusing on building client relationships, driving revenue, and delivering world-class events, including weddings, corporate gatherings, and social celebrations.

The Catering Sales Manager will collaborate closely with the resort’s operations team to ensure flawless event execution while providing an unparalleled guest experience. This is a unique opportunity to join a prestigious property and make a significant impact in one of California’s most sought-after destinations.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Client Relations:

  • Proactively solicit, negotiate, and secure new business for the resort’s catering and events department.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their vision is met and exceeded.
  • Host site visits, tastings, and planning meetings to showcase the resort’s offerings and services.


Event Planning and Coordination:

  • Work closely with clients to understand their event needs and ensure all details are properly communicated to the operations team.
  • Create and distribute detailed event orders and timelines to support flawless execution.
  • Collaborate with the culinary and banquet teams to align on menus, setups, and service standards.


Revenue Management:

  • Achieve or exceed catering sales revenue goals through effective sales strategies and client engagement.
  • Upsell resort services, such as additional menu items, beverage packages, and enhancements, to maximize revenue.
  • Monitor and track sales performance, preparing reports for leadership.


Marketing and Networking:

  • Represent the resort at local events, trade shows, and industry gatherings to promote the property as a premier event destination.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns targeting the catering market.
  • Build partnerships with local vendors and planners to expand the resort’s client base.


Team Collaboration:

  • Partner with the resort’s operations, culinary, and sales teams to ensure cohesive planning and execution of events.
  • Act as the liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the event process.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in catering sales, with a proven track record in securing and managing large-scale events.
  • Strong knowledge of event planning, food and beverage operations, and luxury service standards.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in event management software and CRM tools.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences.
