Human Resources Specialist Role Description: The Human Resources Specialist plays a vital role in shaping our workforce while managing comprehensive HR operations. This position combines strategic talent acquisition with essential HR functions to support employee success throughout their journey with MedRock Pharmacies. The role requires a dynamic professional who can balance multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of service and compliance.
Key Responsibilities: HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and compliant HR records and documentation
- Develop and update HR policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Manage HR information systems and databases
- Prepare HR reports and analytics for leadership review
- Coordinate benefits administration and enrollment
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies for all positions within the pharmacy across multiple locations (FL, TN, TX, etc.)
- Create compelling job descriptions and manage postings across multiple platforms
- Conduct full-cycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates
- Partner with department leaders to understand staffing needs and align recruitment efforts
- Track recruitment metrics and optimize hiring processes
- Manage relationships with external recruitment partners and job boards
Onboarding & Integration
- Design and implement comprehensive onboarding programs
- Coordinate new hire documentation, training schedules, and orientation sessions
- Create and maintain onboarding materials and resources
- Monitor new hire integration and gather feedback for process improvement
- Ensure completion of all required employment documentation
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Partner with employees and leadership as a strategic advisor to resolve workplace concerns, foster positive employee relations, and implement solutions that align with organizational values and objectives.
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to address satisfaction and retention
- Coordinate company events and recognition programs
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover trends
- Support conflict resolution and employee relations issues
- Foster a positive workplace culture across all locations
Performance Management & Development
- Assist in developing performance evaluation processes
- Assist in developing employee training and development programs
- Guide managers in performance improvement planning
- Monitor and report on performance metrics
- Coordinate professional development opportunities
