About the Role
As a Sales Engineer, you’ll collaborate closely with customers and internal teams to deliver technical solutions that align with customer needs and requirements. In addition to providing technical expertise, you will take ownership of customer account strategies, sales targets, and pipeline management. Success in this role requires strong technical proficiency and sales skills. This role is based out of Alpharetta, GA, and reports directly to the Head of Sales. Travel of up to 30% is to be expected. Your responsibilities include:
- Analyze customers’ technical requirements and recommend appropriate solutions
- Provide technical advice and support to customers throughout the sales process
- Prepare technical quotes and proposals that meet customer specifications
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to show how Evolabel’s products can solve customer issues and challenges
- Drive customer sales engagements
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales goals and customer satisfaction
- Drive and exceed goals for sales and budget performance
- Lead sales pipeline growth, manage execution, and successfully close deals
- Train customers and internal teams on product features and usage
- Stay up-to-date on market trends and competitors’ products to offer competitive solutions
- Work closely with internal teams such as Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Support to ensure consistent customer experience
- Gather and report customer feedback to contribute to product development and improvements
Qualifications & Skills
Your Education, Work Experience, Skills, Traits
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field
- Min. 3 years of technical sales and technical support experience, preferably in a global environment
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM system
- Robust ability to build relationships and networks on executive levels
- Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented
- Ability to understand customer challenges to create value propositions
