Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Manager

Location: North Reading, MA

Key Job Responsibilities

• Owning delivery of test equipment design and fabrication across integrated electrical, mechanical, optics, compute, PCB, ICT, high voltage, pneumatics, and robotic systems.
• Scoping, managing, and ensuring delivery of multiple technical projects in parallel from concept to delivery.
• Weekly reporting of performance of the team.
• Leading daily stand up meetings and weekly team syncs.
• Evaluating and identifying improvements to design process.
• Maintaining high level of communication with cross-functional teams and partners.
• Maintaining a high bar when reviewing technical documents, drawings, CAD, etc.
• Maintaining internal ticketing system for mechanical programs.
• Maintaining internal ticketing system for international shipments.

Basic Qualifications

• BS/MS Mechanical Engineering (or similar field)
• 8+ years of Mechanical Engineering
• 2+ years of Management Experience
• Rigorous experience with Solidworks/PDM
• Experience with Oracle PLM system
• Experience with project management of technical projects
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Asana or other Project Management programs
• Experience managing challenging assignments with aggressive schedules
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
