About the role:
This position is a ‘step stone’ position of a Business Development Manager/Director responsible for assisting in driving new client acquisition and nascent account scale-up for the Hi-Tech business of Incedo. The ideal candidate will have 7-15 years of experience selling in the Hi-Tech Segment; The candidate should have a network of companies and a rolodex of contacts in the Hi-Tech segment and be able to support Level 1 discussions. The role will drive new client acquisition through own rolodex as well as through the leader’s network; may also partner with horizontal leads across Data & AI, Operations Transformation, Digital Engineering and Product Engineering to win new business in new/nascent accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Drive new client acquisition and nascent account scale-up for Incedo’s HI-Tech business in the Bay area.
- Support L1/L2 discussions and help with the sales cycle support (CRM management and lead follow up).
- Partner with horizontal leads across Data & AI, Operations Transformation, Digital Engineering and Product Engineering to win new business in new/nascent accounts.
- A plus, bring a network of companies in the Hi-Tech realm.
Market Analysis and Strategy:
- Work with our pre-sales team to conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential clients.
- Work with leadership to help develop and implement business development strategies aligned with company goals.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Help drive the sales process from lead identification to contract negotiation and closure.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets for the Hi-Tech segment.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities, and sales forecasts.
- Analyse data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Qualifications:
Solid rolodex of contacts, relationships, and connections in the Hi -Tech segment, mainly around ISV, OEM, Cyber Security, Networking or Industrial space . *Any other domain selling experience within Hi-Tech is also okay.
Proved track record in New Client Acquisition.
Strong ability to walk the corridors for any new logos that we generate from both Direct and Inside Sales
Track record of supporting in any internal backend work that needs to be done from NDA, MSA, SOW, among others
