Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate and manage daily office operations to ensure smooth workflow and efficient processes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies and office procedures.
  • Oversee recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, and onboarding new hires.
  • Maintain and update employee records in HR systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Administer employee benefits, including enrollment, changes, and answering benefits-related questions.
  • Support payroll processing by gathering and verifying timekeeping data and resolving discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Organize and conduct employee training sessions, including safety and compliance training.
  • Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed to maintain adequate stock.
  • Coordinate meetings, events, and travel arrangements for employees and management.
  • Handle correspondence, reports, and presentations, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
  • Act as a liaison between employees and management, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts.
  • Support performance management processes, including tracking reviews and performance improvement plans.
  • Assist with budgeting and expense tracking for HR and office-related activities.
  • Implement and monitor workplace safety programs, including maintaining OSHA logs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve overall workplace efficiency and employee satisfaction.


Qualifications:

  • Associates degree and/or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Management (preferred) or other related field or minimum High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 1-3 years’ experience using HRIS and time keeping systems
  • Minimum 2-4 years office experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; particularly Excel then, Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Background with adherence to protecting confidential & personal information
