Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage daily office operations to ensure smooth workflow and efficient processes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies and office procedures.
- Oversee recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, and onboarding new hires.
- Maintain and update employee records in HR systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Administer employee benefits, including enrollment, changes, and answering benefits-related questions.
- Support payroll processing by gathering and verifying timekeeping data and resolving discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Organize and conduct employee training sessions, including safety and compliance training.
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed to maintain adequate stock.
- Coordinate meetings, events, and travel arrangements for employees and management.
- Handle correspondence, reports, and presentations, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Act as a liaison between employees and management, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts.
- Support performance management processes, including tracking reviews and performance improvement plans.
- Assist with budgeting and expense tracking for HR and office-related activities.
- Implement and monitor workplace safety programs, including maintaining OSHA logs.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve overall workplace efficiency and employee satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree and/or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Management (preferred) or other related field or minimum High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1-3 years’ experience using HRIS and time keeping systems
- Minimum 2-4 years office experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; particularly Excel then, Word and PowerPoint
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Background with adherence to protecting confidential & personal information
