Title: Internal Communications Specialist

Location Mason, OH (Hybrid, 2-3 days in office per week)

Type: 6+ -month contract


Must Haves:

  • Excellent writing skills, able to write for a global audience
  • PowerPoint creation and editing skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization
  • Able to interpret communication challenges from senior leaders and turn that into a simple, achievable comms plan

Job Title: Internal Communications Specialist

Working alongside our Senior Corporate Communications Manager, this position will support internal communications for our senior leaders in the LCRA (Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Audit) functions and provide ad hoc support for our Line of Business (LoBs) communications activities as directed by the Senior Corporate Communications Manager. As an active member of the IC team, you’ll be involved in general communications support for the team.


Day-to-day tasks include:

  • Responsibility for all LCRA communications to drive engagement across this global function
  • Meeting with key stakeholders, including senior leaders, to develop communications plans and solutions
  • Writing clear, simple content that effectively conveys key messages to a diverse audience
  • Developing other assets like graphics, videos, events, and more as part of communications plans
  • Managing content approvals through global stakeholder groups
  • Supporting senior leaders with any communications and engagement needs
  • Collaborating on other communications activities, including global events, videos, and written content

5 Must-Have Qualifications:

  1. Excellent writer, able to simplify complex information for a global audience
  2. Strong experience with creating and editing PowerPoint
  3. Able to interpret communication challenges from senior leaders and turn them into simple, achievable plans
  4. Ability to create and execute plans end-to-end
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences at various levels (executive, management, individual contributors)
  6. Excellent problem-solving and time management skills, managing multiple deadlines
  7. Ability to operate independently
