Apex Systems is hiring for a VCF/VMWare Engineer for one of our top clients supporting a DOD customer in the Alexandria, Virginia area . Title: VCF/VMWare Engineer

Location: Alexandria, VA (on-site)

Clearance: TS-SCI

Certifications: CompTIA Security+

Pay: $70-90/HR (depending on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Interacts with the team daily to deliver reliable and robust virtualized environment.
• Communicates with the team lead, design group and other teammates to deliver the operational requirements.
• Able to work on a team that supports a mission focused customer with high expectations.
• Resolves challenging problems to provide highly available virtualized environments.
• Utilizes technical knowledge, interpersonal skills and grit to solve challenging operational requirements.
• May serve as team lead.

What You’ll Need to Succeed :

Education : Bachelors

Required Experience: 5-8+ years

Required Technical Skills: Security+, vSphere 8

Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI

Required Skills and Abilities: Communication, problem solving, attention to detail

Preferred Skills: VCP-DCV
