Seeking a Research Associate to join a growing Biotech company in Philadelphia, PA.
The Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Research Associate with experience in cell biology, molecular biology, and flow cytometry to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting research projects by conducting experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to the development of impactful therapies aimed at addressing critical unmet medical needs.
Responsibilities
- Routinely conduct assays using molecular and cell biology techniques such as cloning, quantitative PCR, DNA and RNA isolation, gel electrophoresis, ELISA, cell culture and cell-based assays.
- Perform multicolor flow cytometry and data analysis.
- Analyze experimental data and present findings to the research team.
- Assist in the development and optimization of new experimental protocols.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects.
- Organize and maintain laboratory reagents and stocks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, or a related field, with a minimum of 2+ years of laboratory experience in cell culture and molecular biology techniques.
- Strong background in molecular and cellular biology methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of cell-based functional assays (e.g. activation, differentiation, proliferation, cytokine release studies, ELISA).
- Experience in flow cytometry, including immunophenotyping of murine and human cells from blood and tissues.
- Ability to multi-task and work in collaboration with peers within a fast-paced team environment with a positive outlook and high degree of self-motivation and organization.
