Job Title: Technician - Imaging Division (Strobe Generator Repair)
Location: Los Angeles, California
Start Date: January or February 2025
Salary: $55K-$60K (DOE)
Summary:
Our client, a prominent Japanese staffing and outsourcing company, is dedicated to supporting manufacturing and engineering-focused sectors. With operations spanning multiple regions, they provide services to high-tech industries, including semiconductor and imaging. Their Imaging Division, originally established through a project in France, manages strobe generator repair services in partnership with a Swedish strobe manufacturer. This U.S.-based role is an extension of their European services, focused on providing repair solutions to Hollywood-based professional photographers.
The Imaging Division is looking for a skilled technician to conduct strobe generator repairs in the Los Angeles area. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in electrical systems, particularly high-voltage equipment, and experience with advanced electronic components.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs and maintenance for strobe generators, ensuring high-quality standards for professional photography equipment.
• Work closely with the team in France, including a French technician, and report to the division manager.
• Provide exceptional technical support to Hollywood's professional photography industry clients.
• Oversee on-site repair operations, emphasizing timely and efficient service tailored to a specialized, artistically-oriented clientele.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience with high-voltage equipment handling and repair.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to professionally interact with artistic clients.
• Leadership ambition, with the potential to grow into a branch management role.
• Self-driven, responsible, and dedicated.
