Role: Data Quality DA / BA
Location: Charlotte, NC or Dallas, TX (3 days onsite.)
*On W2 Contract only*
Visas Restrictions: Candidates must be able to work without sponsorship, now and in the future, Like USC/GC/H4 EADs
Please note the following is a MUST have:
- Working with regulatory reports (Y-14Q H1 (primary), 2052A & BASAML activities (less common, but nice to have).
- Commercial banking.
About the team: Regulatory reporting data quality. Covers Data Quality in credit agreements and onboarding. They conduct accuracy checks in customer documents.
Her group specifically responsible data quality assurance types of activities.
Some teams close to business, doing QA work
The project: Working with regulatory reports (Y-14Q H1 (primary), 2052A & BASAML activities (less common, but nice to have).
- Transactional testing.
- Testing originating credit agreements and legal agreements.
- Identify errors, data defects
TOP 3 Requirements:
- Capturing and documenting requirements
- Data analysis w/ ADVANCED excel skills (pivot tables, etc.).
- Intermediate SQL.
- Need to be able to look at the code, understand a query, and unpack it.
- Mapping documents, know field columns and table.
- Direct Comm Bank experience either via Wells Fargo or BofA.
- They need to know the lingo and process — can’t slow down to teach them this
background: Data quality, quality assurance, or ops & analytics
Commercial banking is a must. Someone who has worked in loan ops/servicing could step into this testing role, but need to have data analyst experience as well.
Could come from legal, regulatory, testing, or operational knowledge perspective of the business. Have experienced legal agreement. They need to be able to digest legalese and be detail oriented. Need to interpret language and understand business terms and concepts.
- Previous regulators or done work testing regulatory reports. Knowledge around regulatory reports. (Y-14Q H1 (primary), 2052A & BASAML)
- Could come from ops background - credit, legal agreements
- Testing function on data for reg reports (combo of theses is okay)
