Project Manager – Packaging Machinery

Department: Sales

FLSA Status: Exempt


About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead multiple concurrent machine-build projects from order receipt to successful shipment. This position is key to ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet customer expectations. If you’re a skilled communicator, problem solver, and team leader with a passion for excellence, this could be the perfect role for you.


Salary and Benefits:

  • Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 annually, based on experience.
  • Benefits: Comprehensive package including health, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, paid time off, and more.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers to develop detailed project documentation, including customer requirements, machine specifications, and scope.
  • Maintain and update ERP system records, tracking orders, serial numbers, and change orders, while coordinating with the finance team as needed.
  • Create and adjust work plans using established templates, addressing changes in design, assembly, operations, and shipping.
  • Serve as the primary customer liaison, providing regular updates on project schedules, deliverables, and testing requirements through weekly written reports.
  • Coordinate and facilitate testing processes, such as applications and FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing).


What You Bring to the Role:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in packaging machinery or a related manufacturing environment.

Skills:

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are preferred but not required.
