Overview: Sterling Engineering / Staffing is currently looking for
an Inventory Assistant for one of our clients in the Naples, FL area. Sterling has a rich history of delivering top talent to our clients. We are a nationwide Staffing Firm with over 100 clients and works primarily with Fortune 1000 corporations.
Hourly Rate: $20-25/hr

Job Description Reports directly to and works under the supervision of the assigned department manager. The Inventory Assistant will provide general administrative support for a variety of programs with regards to Inventory while maintaining the highest standards of ethical compliance.
Duties and Responsibilities: - Review and apply inventory activities, including movements and deletions
- Maintain and update inventory records
- Develop and implement efficient inventory management procedures
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies
- Implement a loss prevention program
- Report any stock issues to management and place product orders as necessary
- Prepare a list of depleted products and a survey of unusable product
Qualifications and Experience: - Skill Level III - Combination of 5 years of experience higher education
- Skill level II - Combination of 2+ years' experience in inventory control or education
- Skill Level I - Entry level position
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Able to work irregular or extended hours, including weekends and nights as needed
Preferred Skills: - Advanced Windows Operating Systems experience
- Must be capable of operating a fork truck and similar equipment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Exemplary mathematical and analytical skills
