Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience required; travel experience preferred

Valid RN License required

Certifications:

BLS (Basic Life Support)

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - Mandatory

Must-Have:

Ventilator experience

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Strong multitasking skills

Effective written and verbal communication abilities

Willingness to accept possible assignments to ICU and Medical-Surgical units

Job Description:

Conduct thorough assessments of patients' clinical conditions, recognizing and prioritizing serious situations effectively.

Take immediate action in emergency situations when a physician is not readily available.

Operate and monitor emergency care equipment such as infusion pumps, pulse oximeters, ventilators, and cardiac monitors.

Administer prescribed therapeutic measures, including medications, IV therapy, respiratory therapy, and mechanical ventilation.

Document observations, nursing interventions, and coordinate activities across professional disciplines.

Prepare and assign specific healthcare requirements to team members, ensuring a match between staff skills and patient care needs.

Plan, implement, and coordinate care delivery while maintaining appropriate documentation.

Contribute to maintaining adequate supplies and equipment while ensuring unit safety and upkeep.
