Procedural Sedation AdministrationJob Description:Join a dynamic team in a short-term acute care facility with 39 total staffed beds, handling approximately 90 visits daily.Deliver outstanding patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment.Administer procedural sedation as necessary, ensuring patient comfort and safety.Dress code requires navy blue scrubs while on duty.Utilize Cerner for efficient and accurate charting.Availability for every other weekend and holiday shifts is essential.Participate in a comprehensive 28-hour orientation, with 50% being non-billable time.Flu vaccination is mandatory with no exceptions allowed.Engage in pre-start and potential in-orientation modules that will be recorded via transcripts.Preferred skills include experience with ventilated patients, triage, and charge nurse responsibilities.Preferred certifications include TNCC and ENCP.Comfortable accepting a position without an interview, as management may skip this step.Be prepared to complete specific pre-start modules, which are billable up to four hours, with an average completion time of 12 hours expected.Take this opportunity to advance your nursing career in a rewarding and challenging setting!Location: Olney, MD
