We are located in Chinatown, Los Angeles (brick and mortar) and we opened in 2020 after doing our main pop-ups at Smorgasburg LA. We serve Yoshoku style cuisine (Japanese comfort food with a western influence) such as Katsu Sandos, Katsu Curry Plates, Egg Salad Sandos, Onigiri rice balls, and lots more eclectic items.
We are in the middle of changing/adding more to our current menu and concept, so flexibility and adaptation is what we are currently looking in regards to scheduling.
We are looking for:
A part-time hire eventually open to working full-time if needed.
A FOH team member that finds importance in not just serving customers, but being hospitable, approachable, and a great representation of who we are. A team player, bright/positive energy, communicates well, friendly, and genuinely likes to work in FOH and the responsibilities that come with it.
It is expected to learn the menu and know it confidently, be professional, upsell items, and proactive during their shift.
This job requires intuition, hustle, hard work, and skills of finesse with speaking with customers.
