About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Operations to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a key player in the company's growth and innovation, with a focus on residential and commercial construction. Responsibilities for this leadership role include overseeing the planning, design, and construction of various projects, managing and coordinating with teams to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery, and implementing strategies to enhance operational efficiency. The VP of Operations will also be tasked with managing relationships with contractors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with regulations. A critical aspect of the role is to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, as well as to collaborate with senior leaders to set strategic goals and drive business growth.Applicants for the VP of Operations position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in operations management within the construction industry, with a strong background in home building, single-family, and production builds. Extensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations, particularly in the areas of track homes and concrete construction, is essential. The role requires a proven track record in budget management, forecasting, and financial planning, as well as strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. A degree in construction management, business administration, or a related field is preferred. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, capable of making sound decisions under pressure, and will be committed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the operations team.
