Piper Companies Data Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to support our technologically driven team in a remote capacity based in Washington, DC.

  • Design and develop advanced dashboards and reports using Tableau and Salesforce to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into analytical requirements.
  • Utilize CRM best practices to manage and optimize data within Salesforce.
  • Perform complex data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can influence strategic business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain data visualization tools to present complex data in an understandable format.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across all data sources and reporting platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data analytics and visualization tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and/or minimum of 5+ years of experience as a data analyst or engineer with strong exposure to both Tableau and Salesforce.
  • Strong understanding of CRM concepts, best practices, and data management.
  • Proficient in data visualization, report building, and dashboard development.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications: Tableau, Salesforce Admin certifications, or equivalent.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience supporting federal projects is a plus.

Compensation

  • Salary Range: $95,000 to $115,000 depending on experience*
  • Full Benefits: Hybrid environment, Healthcare, Dental, Vision, 401k, Paid Time Off, paid holidays and Sick Leave (as required by law)
