What You Will Be Doing:
- Advise and counsel employer clients on complex wage and hour matters.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
- Argue motions in court and conduct discovery analysis.
- Develop case strategies from inception through completion.
- Take depositions and perform exposure analysis.
- Attend mediations and negotiate settlements.
- Contribute to thought leadership by speaking and publishing on class action and PAGA issues.
Experience You Will Need:
- **Experience**: 2-7 years in wage and hour class action defense, specifically within California.
- **Skills**: Strong writing, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- **Languages**: Bilingual abilities are a plus.
- **Education**: Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
- **Licensing**: Active California bar license in good standing and ongoing Licensure compliance.
