Job Description

Required Education:

• Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate or equivalent experience required.

Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

• At least five (5) years of related law firm or in-house experience in Marketing and Advertising law.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams, and a willingness to learn other systems, including client’s contract management and collateral review software systems; and

• Proven organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, managing competing demands and frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.

• Excellent time management, communications, decision-making, presentation, human relations, and organizational skills.

• Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills.

Job Duties:

General

• Work with supervisor to support client’s Beauty Retail operations as requested.

• Review various agreements for all Beauty Retail brands, as requested.

• Provide administrative and database support for Beauty Retail functions.

Marketing and Advertising

• Review marketing and advertising assets (e.g. product labels) and advertising media (e.g. print ads, sell sheets) as well as social media content.

• Coordinate with R&D and Regulatory functions to ensure adequate testing protocols and proper substantiation for all claims on product labels and marketing collateral.

• Work with Marketing personnel to ensure all deadlines for review are met.

• Attend weekly and/or biweekly brand-specific team meetings to discuss and align on assignments.
