Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Data Governance Analyst / Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in applying data governance principles to eliminate pain points from on-premises systems and serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. This role involves gathering and defining requirements related to data tagging, definitions, naming conventions, and data quality rules, and translating these into actionable requirements for engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the intermediary between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of data governance requirements.
• Gather and document requirements for data governance, including tagging, definitions, naming conventions, and data quality rules.
• Collaborate with engineers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Interface with business units to understand their data governance needs and ensure these are met.
• Participate in data migration projects, particularly those involving the transition from on-premises to cloud-based solutions.
• Work closely with a team comprising data scientists, front-end engineers, and an OCM (Organizational Change Management) person, within a structure divided into Data Science, Data Governance, and AI sectors.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Proven experience in gathering requirements and working with stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with data migration projects, especially from on-premises to cloud environments.
• Experience in a data governance role, particularly with data lake solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services) is a plus.

Team Structure

• The team includes 2 data scientists, 2 front-end engineers, and an OCM person.
• The team is organized into three sectors: Data Science, Data Governance, and AI.
