We are seeking an HRIS & Benefits Administrator to join our team. This role focuses on managing HRIS systems and overseeing employee benefits programs to ensure efficiency, compliance, and employee satisfaction. The key functions of this role include: Benefits Administration, HRIS System Administration, Enrollment and Administration, & HR Support:
- Design and manage competitive benefits packages aligned with company objectives and employee needs.
- Conduct market research to evaluate potential benefit options and negotiate terms with providers.
- Stay informed of federal and state regulations related to benefits compliance.
- Oversee benefit plan audits and reporting requirements.
- Provide support for compensation programs as needed.
- Lead the implementation and upgrades of HRIS platforms (e.g., ADP Workforce Now or similar systems).
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical support to users.
- Identify and implement opportunities to automate HR processes, including onboarding, benefits enrollment, payroll, and time tracking.
- Develop workflows and integrate HRIS with other business systems (e.g., payroll, accounting).
- Perform regular data audits and ensure data quality.
- Generate analytics and reports to support HR strategies and decision-making.
- Process employee benefit enrollments, changes, and claims.
- Guide employees in understanding and selecting their benefits options.
- Manage annual open enrollment processes, including communication and system setup.
- Address employee inquiries regarding HR policies and benefits.
- Assist with onboarding processes for new full-time employees.
- Support initiatives such as the company's wellness programs.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-5 years in HRIS administration and benefits management.
- Skills: Strong proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., ADP Workforce Now), data analysis, problem-solving, and process improvement.
- Languages (Highly Preferred): Proficiency in Spanish and/or Koren.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of federal and multi-state regulations for health, retirement, FMLA, and other benefits programs.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for diverse audiences.
- Attributes: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven with a commitment to continuous learning.
- Certifications (Preferred): HRCI, SHRM, or CEBS.
- Additional Experience: Familiarity with administering compensation programs is a plus.
Position Details:
- Salary: $65,000-$80,000 annually; will consider increasing the pay range slightly for BILINGUAL applicants
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (30-minute lunch).
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote after 90 days).
- Location: Newport, MN.
