- Must have good enough Agile to be a leader of the methodology, and coach/guide the team where needed - need proven examples of this
- Must have good Agile methodology understanding
- Must be strong with JIRA
- Must know how to write good user stories
- Must be within commutable distance to the Delaware location
- Good communication skills – must be proactive and not wait around for someone to tell them what to do
Position Summary
5 - 7 years. Provides technical & business systems and software support for modification, implementation, or conversion of business systems. Translates business needs into technical requirements and ensures all systems support and conform to business needs and specifications. Acts as liaison between business unit and software/hardware developers and vendors. Aware of business or function for which application or system is designed. Has the required domain knowledge, as applicable
The agile analyst will work with IT and the Business and tech partners to define and deliver solutions that meet business objectives. Responsible for combining business and technology skills with strong leadership, communication, negotiation, facilitation, and presentation skills. Serves as a servant leader and the ultimate facilitator between Business/dev partners and IT in truly understanding the needs and plays a key role in the overall management and success of a project through the entire project lifecycle. Guides the team to be self organized. Will remove impediments and guide the team to resolve issues or escalate to leadership as needed. Using proven methods and tools, this position leads the planning, eliciting, analyzing, validating and managing of requirements, business processes, high-level solution design, test case design, and implementation planning & support - in partnership with Project Managers, Business Stakeholders, and IT interfacing groups. This position may also be called upon to lead other IT project work based on changing project demands.
Required Skills
EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree or equivalent 4 year experience in related field.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3 years experience in a technical product manager role in a project-based environment.
FIELD OF EXPERTISE:
-Experience in working on multiple projects at the same time.
-Strong understanding of agile and waterfall methodologies and working experience in agile tools like JIRA is preferable
-Good time management skills; ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
-Ability to communicate effectively at different levels within the organization, assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
-Previous success working in a dynamic environment with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
-Ability to assess the scrum maturity of the team and organzation and support the team to reach higher levels of maturity at a pace that is sustainable and comofortable.
-Fluent in technology and strong knowledge of project and software development methodologies / techniques.
-Solid presentation, facilitation, interview, and workshop skills. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-management skills.
