About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief of Staff to uphold the highest standards of veterinary care, client service, and associate engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the hospital, advocating for the well-being of pets, and building long-term relationships with clients. This role involves a significant leadership component, including training and supervising associates, and ensuring the hospital operates in accordance with the company's protocols and practices. The Chief of Staff will also be involved in the development of the human-pet bond, educating clients and associates on pet health, and maintaining a productive and safe hospital environment.Applicants must be a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with a minimum of two years of clinical experience and a proven track record in coaching and developing associate doctors. The position requires a strong leader with excellent conflict management, customer focus, and team-building skills. The Chief of Staff will be expected to practice evidence-based medicine, lead the veterinary medical team, and ensure the delivery of outstanding, high-quality care and service. The role demands a candidate with the ability to multi-task, strong organizational, problem-solving, and surgical skills, and a commitment to continual learning. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate the company's core principles of quality, responsibility, mutuality, efficiency, and freedom, and must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
