About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP, Strategy to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily functional management of client needs and leading the Strategy team. This role requires a strategic thinker with a genuine passion for health and wellness, capable of delivering bold and meaningful health media solutions. The VP, Strategy will be a key player in the HCP Media Strategy, leading the team in developing and executing media strategies that connect with clients' marketing priorities. The role involves managing a team of direct and indirect reports, providing training, and ensuring the team meets client and agency requests. The VP, Strategy will also be involved in organic growth efforts and may be called upon to assist in new business endeavors.Applicants for the VP, Strategy position at the company should have a minimum of 7-8 years' media planning experience, with at least 3 years in a management role. A background in cross-channel media planning and familiarity with standard media research and planning tools is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in media planning, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry, across a diverse set of conditions, disease states, and audiences. The role demands a leader who can push for continuous improvement, both for themselves and their team, and who is adept at managing multiple accounts and transitioning between them. The VP, Strategy will be expected to have in-depth knowledge of media channels, budget allocation, and to represent the interests of various capability teams in client and agency partner meetings.
