About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President of Human Resources to join their executive leadership team. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader, responsible for providing vision and direction for the HR and Talent Management teams. This role is pivotal in fostering a culture that aligns with the company's values, developing and managing the people strategy, and driving employee engagement and ministry growth. The SVP of HR will also be involved in global HR strategy, ensuring that HR practices are in line with the company's mission and values, and that they are competitive and compliant with international labor laws.Applicants must have a vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ, a desire to serve in a Christian service ministry, and a minimum of 12 years' of project and staff management experience in employee development. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree preferred, and HR certification is a plus. The role demands a candidate with a strong understanding of HR laws and regulations, excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, and the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels. Experience in the nonprofit sector and a deep understanding of Christian ministry are highly desirable. The SVP of HR will also be responsible for overseeing employee relations, compensation and benefits, talent management, and HR operations, and must be prepared to travel as needed.
