The Director of Catering and Conference Services will lead a dynamic team, manage client relationships, and ensure that every event reflects the resort’s commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and implement innovative strategies to drive catering and conference services revenue.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to promote the resort as a premier event destination.
• Lead the catering and conference services team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

Event Planning and Execution:

• Oversee the planning and execution of weddings, corporate events, conferences, and social gatherings.
• Partner with clients to understand their vision and ensure every detail aligns with their expectations.
• Work closely with culinary, operations, and audiovisual teams to deliver seamless event experiences.

Client and Vendor Relations:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and local community partners.
• Act as the primary contact for high-profile clients, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
• Negotiate contracts and manage vendor agreements to maximize quality and value.

Team Development and Management:

• Recruit, train, and mentor the catering and conference services team to achieve high performance.

Financial Oversight:

• 8-10 years of experience in catering and event management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a luxury environment.
