Job Title: Sales Account Manager

Location: Wheaton, IL

Company: Charter and Co & Forge Virtual Studios

Reports to: Chief Operations Officer

Job Summary: Charter and Co, in collaboration with its new venture, Forge Virtual Studios, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Account Manager to join our team. This role combines new business development with account management responsibilities across two innovative brands. The ideal candidate will excel in identifying and securing new business opportunities, closing sales, and cultivating long-term relationships with clients. This position will require a deep understanding of client needs, particularly within the agency, production, and marketing industries, as well as the ability to effectively position both Charter and Co’s services and Forge Virtual Studios’ rental space packages. Success in this role requires strong self-motivation, strategic thinking, exceptional communication skills, and a service-minded personality.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow a robust pipeline for both Charter and Co and Forge Virtual Studios.
  • Research and target agencies, production companies, and marketing directors to establish valuable partnerships.
  • Work closely with the CEO to develop a prospecting strategy that employs a mix of outbound sales tactics focused on Charter & Co’s target market.
  • Schedule and facilitate introductory calls with outbound and inbound leads to qualify potential sales opportunities.
  • Craft custom sales proposals and facilitate meetings to walk through proposed solutions with qualified leads, with follow up as needed
  • Facilitate hands-on discovery meetings with qualified leads to discover what Charter & Co video solution will best suit their needs.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets through proactive and self-starting sales efforts.
  • Leverage Charter & Co’s service offerings and Forge Virtual Studios’ rental packages as tailored solutions to meet client needs.

Account Management

  • Serve as the primary Sales point of contact for clients, answering sales related questions and deepening relationships in order to ensure client satisfaction and drive growth of customer lifetime value.
  • Schedule and attend post-project success calls alongside the CEO.
  • Regularly check in with past clients to understand their evolving needs, address concerns, and identify sales opportunities.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to enhance client value.
  • Create and execute growth strategies tailored to each client’s objectives to maximize long-term partnerships.

Forge Virtual Studios-Specific Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell Forge Virtual Studios’ state-of-the-art rental space packages to clients in creative and production sectors.
  • Understand the unique features and benefits of Forge’s studio offerings, effectively communicating value propositions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with agencies, production companies, and marketing teams.

Reporting and Strategy:

  • Update Contact and Company records in CRM to keep information on leads and customers current.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline forecasts using HubSpot.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, deal status standings, and forecasts to the CEO and COO.
  • Collaborate with other team members and vendors to share client feedback and insights that can inform sales, product or service improvements.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales or account management, with a strong focus on B2B services and agency sales.
  • Demonstrated success in closing deals and exceeding sales targets.
  • Familiarity with the agency, production, and marketing industries; experience selling studio space or creative services is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HubSpot CRM and Google Suite; HubSpot Sales Hub Pro certification preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
