Title: Desktop Support Technician

Job Type: Contract to Hire
Pay Rate: $25-28/hr (depending on certifications and experience)
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM (Overtime )
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting Dell laptop/desktop PCs, working with end-users to resolve issues, and providing updates to management as needed. This is a full-time position with travel required between multiple locations during the week.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair Dell laptop/desktop PCs.
- Work with end-users to resolve technical issues.
- Provide updates to management as needed.
- Perform preventative maintenance of site equipment.
- Provide warranty support for Dell products.
- Support MDF Room operations.
- All our work comes from Service Now ticketing system. / This site supports 700 end users with 3 techs, most all users are remote
- o Must be detailed and process oriented, able to work independently following detailed steps and be able to document troubleshooting steps taken and maintain daily ticket status; Break-Fix support, changing system boards, laptop LCDs etc.; Good troubleshooting skills both HW and software
Required Skills:
- Strong communication skills.
- Hardware break-fix experience.
- Installation of hardware and software.
- Field tech experience with client-facing/executive customer service.
- Strong customer service and time management skills.
- Experience with ServiceNow (SNOW).
Nice to have Certifications
- A+ Certification (Nice Have)
- Dell Certification
- Lenovo Certification
- Mac Certification (nice to have)
Experience and Education:
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience.
- Must have field tech experience.
- Strong customer service and time management skills.
