Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to oversee and deliver high-end commercial and office interior construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in interior construction, exceptional organizational skills, and a proven ability to lead projects from conception through completion while ensuring quality, budget, and schedule compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Initiation:
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, designers, and stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets tailored to high-end commercial/office interiors.
  • Procure necessary resources, including materials, equipment, and subcontractors, to meet project goals.
  1. Project Execution and Oversight:
  • Lead and coordinate all aspects of construction projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and design intent.
  • Manage construction schedules, monitor progress, and mitigate risks to avoid delays.
  • Oversee quality control processes to maintain the highest standards in materials, finishes, and craftsmanship.
  1. Stakeholder Communication:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project milestones, budget status, and potential issues.
  • Facilitate effective communication among architects, designers, contractors, and other key parties.
  • Manage client relationships to ensure satisfaction and build long-term partnerships.
  1. Budget and Financial Management:
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective procurement and execution.
  • Monitor and control project expenses, addressing any variances proactively.
  • Prepare regular financial reports and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders.
  1. Risk and Issue Management:
  • Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impacts.
  • Resolve project-related issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to progress.
  1. Team Leadership:
  • Direct and supervise on-site teams and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and schedule requirements.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members and subcontractors.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience managing high-end commercial or office interior construction projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices in interior build-outs.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budget preparation and cost management.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and collaboration tools.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
  • Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
  • Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) or LEED accreditation is a plus.
