Salary Range: $120,000–$170,000 (Negotiable)

Relocation Package: $3,000–$5,000 (Potentially more, if negotiated)

Overview:

Abel Personnel is hiring for its client, seeking a CSfC Senior Network Engineer to join a dynamic team supporting the Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) in Honolulu, HI. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining secure communications networks that meet NSA, DoD, and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) solutions in alignment with NSA and DoD requirements.
• Configure network components, firewalls, VPN gateways, and wireless controllers (e.g., Aruba, Cisco).
• Manage PKI Certificate Authorities and apply DoD STIGs/IAVAs.
• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support and training to users.
• Develop and document system scripts, test procedures, and training materials.
• Author engineering design packages and project implementation plans.
• Evaluate and recommend hardware and technology solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years in network engineering (MA/MS = 10 years; BS = 12 years).
• Certifications: IAT-III DOD 8570 (e.g., CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISSP, GCIH).
• Network Certification: Professional-level certification such as CCNP.
• Security Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance or Secret clearance with completed T5 investigation.
• Citizenship: United States citizenship is required.

Work Environment:

• Schedule: Day shift, Monday–Friday, with occasional evening/weekend work to meet contract needs.
• Travel: Less than 20%.
• Physical Demands: Regular lifting (up to 50 pounds), standing, walking, and sitting.
• Environment: Office setting with low noise levels.
