Our client, a beverage company, is seeking a temp to perm Events Manager to join their NY office.

Duration: starts asap and has the potential to go permanent if the right fit

Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm (with flexibility based on event needs)

*Weekends and nights as needed

**Travel will be required once permanent

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage event plans from conception to completion
• Coordinate logistics for events
• Arrange planning calls with necessary partners (catering team, event planning partner)
• Help procure additional partners and vendors as needed
• Create and manage event budgets
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to promote events and maximize attendance
• Supervise and mentor event staff and volunteers
• Develop and implement strategies to support sales initiatives, including pre- and post-event follow-ups
• Create briefs for marketing materials and promotional campaigns to drive event awareness
• Work with marketing team to cover events on social media
• Oversee event execution
• Act as the main point of contact for vendors, attendees, and stakeholders during events
• Prepare pre- and post-event reports
• Recommend improvements for future events

Qualifications:

• 4 years of event management experience within hospitality or luxury setting
• BS/BA degree required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong project management skills
• Proficient in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Organized, efficient, and proactive with a customer service mindset
